Announced Industrial Actions Postponed
At the request of the mediators, in order to allow more time for mediation negotiations, the Swedish Transport Workers’ Union (Transport) has decided to postpone the announced industrial actions related to the Cabin Crew Agreement.
This means that Transport’s notice of a blockade and strike under the Cabin Crew Agreement will be delayed by two days. The blockade and strike will now begin on Wednesday, May 28 at 04:30 AM, unless an agreement is reached before then.
Previously, the conflict was set to begin on Monday, May 26 at 04:30 AM, but it has now been postponed to Wednesday, May 28 at 04:30 AM.
What does this mean for me as a cabin crew employee?
You are expected to work as usual until Wednesday, May 28 at 04:30 AM. If no agreement is reached between Transport and the Swedish Aviation Industry Group by then, the industrial action will commence at that time.
What happens now?
Negotiations with the mediators will continue, with the aim of reaching an agreement between us and the employers. We will provide updates with the latest information as soon as possible.
